Flight Instructor Course for CRI class

Goal

The purpose of the CRI training course is to exercise flight instructor functions on Single Engine Piston (SEP) or Multi Engine Piston (MEP) aeroplanes.

Pre-requisites

  • Valid first or second class medical examination;
  • 500 total flight hours on aeroplane for the CRI MEP rating, including 30 hours as PIC on Single Engine aeroplanes;
  • 300 total flight hours on aeroplanes for the CRI SEP rating, including 30 hours as PIC on multi-engine aircraft.

Theoretical Course

35 hours of theoretical instruction.

For FI licence holders, 10 hours of theoretical instruction.

Practical Training

3 flying hours for CRI SEP qualification. 5 flying hours for CRI MEP qualification.

Aircraft used

Cessna C150 Aerobat and C172, Piper PA28 T, Piper PA34 Seneca V, Mechtronix / Alsim FNPT II.
