The Varese Aeroclub Flying School can build your career as a pilot together with you, accompanying you on your path of personal and aeronautical growth, as an individual and as a pilot, whether you wish to undertake this path as a hobby or as a profession.
An exciting future awaits you: we have been training the next generation of pilots, today, thanks to our experience, professionalism and passion for flying for 75 years. We are the first Flight School in Italy to have obtained the certificate in skills training, Area 100 KSA, and our quality is recognised throughout Europe.
The courses we offer are countless, all designed to provide the best step-by-step theoretical and practical training: with Aeroclub Varese you can obtain your airline pilot’s licence, commercial pilot’s licence, private pilot’s licence, to fly single-engine aircraft and become a flight instructor.
Thanks to our partnership with Air Dolomiti, we make the connection from the classroom to the cockpit even more direct: our ATPL course students can participate in the airline’s selections already during their training.

Instructors and Teachers
Our Instructor and Teachers Staff is made up of carefully selected, passionate and highly trained Professional Pilots with a great passion for flying and teaching. Instructors who have therefore chosen to train for work, as their primary commitment, making themselves available full-time, and thus being able to meet everyone’s most varied schedule, avoiding therefore the need for the student to adapt to the instructor’s availability.

In-house authorised Maintenance Facility at the flying school
The CAMO-certified Maintenance Facility of the Aero Club Varese consists of 6 certified and competent mechanics who, thanks to their passion, always keep the Club’s aeroplanes in ‘perfect shape’.Present 7 days a week, they take care of all maintenance, cleaning, and refuelling of the aircraft. From daily inspections to scheduled maintenance, every job that is done on the aircraft in the fleet goes through them. By exclusively taking care of the aircraft in our fleet, they are able to devote the utmost care and attention to every intervention, thus ensuring that the level of safety always remains at the TOP.
Our Commitment and Responsibility
Safety is our first priority in all our activities.
We are committed to developing, implementing, maintaining and continuously improving strategies and processes to ensure that all our training activities are carried out with the allocation of adequate organisational resources, aimed at achieving the highest level of safety and meeting regulatory requirements. No decision, no project is implemented without considering safety aspects.
All levels of management and all employees are responsible for delivering this highest level of safety performance, starting with the Accountable Manager.
Our commitment is to promote a safety culture, to consider safety management as the responsibility of our entire team, to clearly define related responsibilities, to minimise risks associated with aircraft operations, and to meet and, where possible, exceed legislative and regulatory requirements and safety standards. For us, safety is a core business and personal value, a competitive advantage factor and an integral part of our training.
