Goal
The goal of the APS MCC course is to train the candidate for flight operations on multi-pilot aircraft in a scheduled operational context. The theoretical-practical training enables the development of the skills necessary for the optimal management of human resources by simulating normal, abnormal and emergency conditions.
Pre-requisites
Hold a PPL/CPL licence and multi-engine IR qualification or attend an ATPL Integrated course.
Theoretical Course
The theoretical training comprises 45 hours of lectures during which the knowledge of the systems and equipment of a commercial aircraft and the problems inherent to operations in a multi-crew environment are deepened.
Simulator training
Simulator training comprises 40 hours (36 hours for students on ATP Integrated courses), divided into the roles of Pilot Flying (PF) and Pilot Monitoring (PM).
Simulator
The simulator used for APS MCC training is an ALSIM ALX, certified as FNPT II MCC.
