The aim of PBN Privilege Course is to train pilots to the level of proficiency necessary to operate aeroplanes under IFR in IMC with PBN privilege.
- Hold a valid IR/SE or IR/ME;
- Hold an expired IR Rating that has to be renewed;
- Be a Member of Aeroclub Varese a.s.d.
During the classroom phase trainees will discuss on:
- PBN Concept
- Navigation specifications
- Use of PBN
- PBN operations
- Requirements of RNAV and RNP specifications
3 HOURS on a Certified FNPT II
During Flight the trainees will exercise on operational scenarios that put into practice the theory learned in the classroom. The exercises will include PBN Normal and Abnormal Operations and PBN Procedure Reviews.
AEROPLANES TO BE USED
- Simulator: Alsim ALX – FNPT II
At the end of the ground course, candidates are required to undertake a multiple-choice test: a pass in the final test will be awarded to an applicant achieving at least 75% of the marks allocated on that paper.
At the end of the training course an applicant for PBN privilege shall pass a proficiency check to demonstrate the skill required for the safety of IR operations and PBN privilege. The final exam will be a flight with an examiner.
Price will be: 1.500,00 €
