PPL – Private Aircraft Pilot Licence (A)

Goal

The objective of the course is to obtain the FCL-PPL(A) Licence, which qualifies the holder to operate as a pilot in command of single-engine aircraft used in non-commercial flights.

Pre-requisites

  • Minimum age at attainment 17 years;
  • Class II medical certificate.

Knowledge of the English Language

TEA Level 4 Certificate required only if the applicant is applying for the English phonics qualification.

Theory Course

100 theory hours divided into the following subjects: Aeronautical Law, General Aircraft Concepts, Principles of Flight, Meteorology, Navigation, Communications, Operational Procedures and. Performance and Planning, Human Performance and Limitations, English Language Phony if applicable

Course locations

  • Venegono Inferiore, at our headquarters

Practical Training

Minimum activity:

  • 35 hours dual command;
  • 10 hours pilot-in-command.

Single-engine: Cessna C172 M/N, C150 Aerobat

Simulators: Mechtronix / Alsim FNPT II
