The course is aimed at obtaining an FCL-PPL(A). The privileges of the holder of a PPL(A) are to act as Pilot in Command on aeroplanes engaged in non-commercial operations.
- Minimum age on completion 17 years;
- Class I or II Medical Certificate.
TEA Certificate Level 4 is necessary only if the candidate requires English phonetics rating.
The theoretical course shall comprise 100 hours, to be divided between the following subjects:
Air Law, Aircraft General Knowledge, Performance and Planning, Human Performance and Limitations, Meteorology, Navigation, Operational Procedures, Principles of Flight and Communications.
45 hours of flight of which:
- 35 hours of dual flight instruction;
- 10 hours of solo flight time, including at least 5 hours of solo cross-country flight time.
Single engine: Cessna 172 M/N, Tecnam P2000JF;
Simulator: Mechtronix / Alsim FNPT II.
